“The foster care system touches every part of our society. When you look at any social issue, whether it is fighting poverty, homelessness, sex trafficking, the school-to-prison pipeline, educational inequality, children who’ve experienced foster care are represented in those groups in outstanding numbers.” -Foster Love
The Golden Bridge Strategies team wrapped up National Foster Care Month by packing some essentials into travel bags for some very deserving local foster children through Foster Love – Together We Rise. The ‘sweet case’ program was developed because children in foster care transition from home-to-home with their processions in trash bags. Receiving a ‘sweet case’ helps bring dignity to foster youth in our Sacramento community with a fun-filled decorated duffle bag. The ‘Sweet Cases’ the team assembled went to support kids at the Sacramento Children’s Home.
